A Cold in July???

Yes, a cold, a very very bad cold. Isn't it funny how many "bugs" you can pick up in the nursery at church? And.....had I not been absoulutely exhausted from arriving home after midnight from a five day trip, I probably would have noticed the barking cough of the small children who were visiting our little branch that day, and would have been alert enough to pull MY child out of nursery for the day. But.........we had been on a five day trip, during which we had some kind of fetish for seeing how many miles we could log in the five days we were gone. So here we sit, those of us who wanted to stay just one more day at the reunion and go to church with Grandma and Grandpa instead of coming home in the middle of the night, with colds! Doesn't seem quite fair now does it? Shawn is perfectly healthy, and he's the one who begged to head home one day early to go to church at our own branch. And this in not just a runny nose cold, it is a fever, chills, body aches, hacking cough cold! NOT FUN! Well... I guess he has to live with all of us, so some justice has been served. :)

Shawn rebuilt the backhoe engine, it's finally finished! It was short lived, the oil pressure wouldn't work, but we think it's fixed again. :)
