10" of Snow, Are you Kidding?

Well the weather man was right for a change. We didn't take it seriously, we never get as much snow as they forecast. Well as you can see by the pictures, we got it, and more. The kids had so much fun playing in the snow. Seth loves the snow and begs to go outside constantly. He'd fall off the sled and go to making a snow angel. Shaelie built a snowman and Chantel built a snow horse. Kenzie just loves to sled. It's still here, for awhile, with the warm weather expected for the next two days, it will probably be gone. That's okay, I'm not quite ready for it to stay yet anyway. :)

Happy Birthday Seth!

I can't believe Seth turned three yesterday. Where does the time go? It just seems to by flying by, he's such a little man already. He sure keeps us jumping around here, you can't get anything by him. Chantel has been home sick the last few days, and he has been in heaven having her all to himself all day. He follows her everywhere. Today she was walking through the computer room, and was coughing, Seth, right behind her, is fake coughing. We laughed so hard, he's just so entertaining. He was having a fit the other day when we went over to Townsend to get feed, and I commented to Chantel, "It must be hard to be almost three." So when we told him he was three on his birthday he got a sad little face and said, "it's hard to be three!" So we had to tell him that it was hard to be two, but three was FUN! He felt a little better then. :) He just had to have an ABC cake, not Elmo or Cars, or even Wall-e, ABC's were all he'd take, so the nice lady at Wal-Mart (okay I'm lame and bought the cake) made ABC's all the way around the border for him, he was pleased as punch! He told everyone all week he was getting ABC's for his presents too, so it's a good thing that's what Mom ordered from Amazon.com! We did talk him into Cars plates, cups, and hats, since there was no ABC partyware to be found. What other little boy do you know that would rather have letters to play with than toys? He has so many sets of letters now, he could write a whole message if he knew how. But he's satisfied with making, CAT, BAT, MAT, SAT, FAT, then onto the DOG, FROG, LOG, and he loves PIE (from Word World) and HOP ON POP words too, since he has that whole book memorized. Funny little man!

He had a fun birthday, and this morning he wanted to start it all over again. He was pretty sad when Chantel told him he had to wait a whole year to be four!

Shawn rebuilt the backhoe engine, it's finally finished! It was short lived, the oil pressure wouldn't work, but we think it's fixed again. :)
